Walk: Dickens in London
Monday 27th May @ 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
On Monday 27th May I’ll be leading a Dickens themed walk around some of parts of London he frequented
We will meet at East Croydon station on the main concourse at 12 noon to catch 12.15 train to St Pancras where our walk will start 30 minutes later. An early stop will be at the Charles Dickens Museum in Doughty Street where he and his family lived from 1837-1839. Those who want to look around it’s £12.50/£10.00 and for those who don’t we can grab a cuppa in the cafe/garden. The walk will continue through Farrington, Holborn and the City of London ending at London Bridge. We expect to see 40+ Dickens related sights.
At the end of the walk we can take refreshments at the George Inn loved by Dickens. If you want more information before the walk feel free to ask. If you need to contact me on the day my number is 07931 533785
Look forward to seeing lots of you on Monday
