Meet at 9.20am at East Croydon railway station.  Get a one day travel card / oyster card / equivalent for travel between East Croydon and zone 1. We will catch the 9.37 Thameslink train to London Bridge (also calling at Norwood Junction at 9.42).  Arrive at London Bridge at 9.55 if you prefer to meet there.  Make for the front / bus station area. 

 This event is for all those who enjoy riding London’s public transport system with a bit of sightseeing thrown in.   This year will take in some of north London, making use of the ‘Overground’ network.  There will be a fair bit of walking (2 to 3 miles) – along some quiet streets of Hackney – incorporating Columbia Road flower market and a ‘quiet way’. 

 We will stop for a lunch break at a café or such like.  In mid to late afternoon I hope to stop at a pub or somewhere for a hot meal.  I have an idea of a place near Euston.   However it would be wise to have a snack and drink with you.
