We are the biggest, best and most active outdoor club in the area. We regularly organise walking, cycling, camping, youth hostel trips and all sorts of other social events... more>

MEETINGS · For our Tuesday Club Night, we rent a hall at South Croydon United Church, at the junction of Aberdeen Road and Heathfield Road, CR0 1EQ (entrance to hall is in Heathfield Road, next to the church). Unless otherwise stated on our website programme, we meet at 8.30pm.

  WE INVITE ANY VISITORS TO JOIN US IN OUR FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

  TUESDAY 28th June 2016: OPEN EVENING FOR VISITORS. COPSE welcomes prospective new members. 8.15pm (Hall details on left.)

  SUNDAY 3rd July 2016: VISITORS RAMBLE/CYCLE RIDE. Walkers will be led on a circular route in the lovely countryside around Coulsdon,totalling about 6 miles. Cyclists will be led on a ride around the same area (approx. 15 miles). Both groups meet 10.05am by the war memorial in Katharine Street, CR9 1ET. Walkers catch the 466 bus to The Fox pub, Coulsdon.(Alternatively, walkers could drive to that pub for an 11.00am start)

  TUESDAY 5th July 2016: CROYDON MINSTER (NO HALL).Ring a bell? Join the ringers at Croydon Minster and tour the bell tower. Also, discover this old church's history from info.on display panels. Meet Church Street tram stop at 7.30pm, or in the church itself by 7.45pm. A following walk could end in a pub not too far way. Andrew 07985-936953.

  SATURDAY 9th July 2016: WEST WORTHING TO LITTLEHAMPTON WALK (8 Miles). Meet East Croydon station 9.45pm. Ending with a high tea.

  TUESDAY 12th July 2016: "OUT OF THE ARCHIVE" TALK BY CROYDON MUSEUM ARCHIVIST. What local history will be flowing from the record books & files. 8.15pm (Hall details on left.)
